April? Where did you go?

Wow - March 31st was really my last post??  I'm not 100% sure how the month of April went by so quickly.  I do have lots of photos to upload and will hopefully get to that soon!!

So April - what did we do??  I couldn't even tell you.  I know that Easter was in there somewhere.  We went to Rockford for the weekend and hunted lots and lots of eggs.  Aunt Ashley and Aunt Kylee helped Kam dye easter eggs which was lots of fun!!!

Daddy went turkey hunting for the first time, but the weather was cold and rainy so he didn't have any luck.  Grandma Dana and Grandpa Freddie came down that weekend to help mommy with the little ones.

The past week takes the cake for total yuck.  Kamden has been battling a snotty nose for a few weeks, which then turned into a cough, which then turned into a 104.4 fever.  Yikes!!  So on Sunday we went to the Walk In Clinic and were sent on our merry way with no medicine because it was a "virus."  The next day was worse so back we went to the actual Pediatrician.  It was decided that Kam has inherited Mommy's awful allergies.  After a Z-Pack we should be good to go.  He always was put on Zyrtec for 6 weeks with the possibility of all summer.  Poor little guy.  Next step is to see an allergist to determine what exactly he's allergic to (I'm guessing dust, grass and pollen!).  And then hopefully we can get ahead of the game with a seasonal allergy shot to give the little bugger some relief!!!

On Tuesday, Berkley had her 4 month exam and shots.  She weighed 15 lbs, 13 oz.  (90%) and is 25 inches long (76%).  I can't remember her head circumference, but I know it's 86%.  She's my big girl.  My big, happy, smiley girl.  Until the next day.  Fever for her too. Grandma Smith came down to rescue us.  She helped Berkley out during the night, and then stayed home with her on Wednesday while Kam was at school.

Wednesday - no one had to go to the doctor.  Yay!!

Thursday - after an awful day at school for Miss B, and two straight hours of blood curdling screams (and my baby girl does not cry!) at home, we went BACK to the walk in clinic.  Ear Infection!!!  Yuck.  After 2 doses of Amoxicillan she's doing much better.

So that's how May started out in our house - OH and add in there that Mommy, Berkley and Daddy all had pink eye.  Daddy was even lucky enough to get ti TWICE.

We are tired, our house is full of germs and a complete disaster; however, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  Today it is 72 degrees and sunny.  Saturday is supposed to be the same.  We can open the windows and blow all those germs out of the house.
