We had a couple weekends of super nice weather already this spring. Though it seems to be an endless battle with the wind in Waukee, at least it's not freezing cold anymore. Maybe it was because we were cooped up inside with a new baby, but this past winter seemed tooooooo long!!

We went to the Duck Derby one weekend at Jordan Creek Mall. 32,000 ducks were dumped in the water.

This picture CRACKS ME UP!!!! She looks like such a little spiffet in there!!! This was the last time this swingset was used before we took it apart and gave it to the Dingel family!!
And here's why we took it down - thanks to Uncle Sam and his nice little tax return, Kamden is getting a new playset in the backyard. He calls it his park. That's a whole new set of pictures and a whole separate post. It's been an experience to say the least.
