Medical Update

Last Friday was Lane's scan up at Mayo.  It's funny how quickly those 3 months went by!!  This morning at 8am was the follow up appointment in Des Moines to hear the results.

Dr. Isaak thinks the scans look great.  He was very pleased with how things are going.  The one area of narcrosis we saw in April has sort of collapsed on itself and doesn't seem to be an issue.  Dr. Isaak said that he will continue to watch that area, but his thinking it that all is looking good.

I can't believe how many brain pictures we've looked at the past year!!  This was pretty good to look at.  I love when there's little to no white areas!!  It still amazes me when it's first pulled up.  Mostly because there's just this giant hole in the front.  I mean, seriously, it's brain that's just gone.  We are so unbelievably lucky.

I am happy to know that we can have another 3 months of just living life and enjoying the rest of the summer. 

And Kamden will be happy that he gets to see Paxson in October  :)
